About the association
The association was established to commemorate the fallen Nahal soldiers who fell in Israeli wars and during their military service in Nahal, support and connect with the families of the fallen, and preserve the Nahal legacy for future generations. Over the years, the association has developed in additional areas, including assistance to Nahal units, support for the physically and mentally wounded, advancement of graduates in citizenship, and more.
With the assistance of the Nahal Command Headquarters and the Ministry of Defense, a memorial site was established in Pardes Hanna, a place for the families of the fallen to unite, a place where it will be possible to educate the younger generations about the Nahal heritage and where the association's activities will be concentrated, as a living and active place, to which tens of thousands of visitors come every day of the year.
The vision of the Nahal Association
To preserve and cultivate the Nahal legacy, its ethical and pioneering spirit, while commemorating its fallen and heroes - and to support the Nahal Brigade and its graduates and fighters throughout their lives, while promoting the values of Zionism, social responsibility, and meaningful and optimal service.

Commemoration
- A living and personal commemoration is held for every Nahal graduate and warrior.
- Holding commemorative events throughout the year.
- Support and accompany bereaved families individually and generally
Education
- Educating on the values of national responsibility and pioneering - among youth, members of the Israeli Defense Forces and the community.
- Promote national enterprises in the spirit of pioneering.
- Hosting 40,000 youth per year in field and shelter camps combined with exposure to the Nahal heritage.
The alumni community
- Cultivating a multi-generational community of Nahal graduates who constitute a social and moral anchor.
- Supporting Nahal soldiers and graduates along the way: in service, upon release, and in civilian life.
- Support and assistance to the wounded and victims of the Nahal disaster for generations.
